Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, optional organization, message, and whether you consented to occasional product updates.
We also process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the form, including submission time, Cloudflare Turnstile verification data, and hashed signals derived from your IP address and message content for rate limiting and duplicate detection.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you or your organization.
- To evaluate interest in FiltMon and related pilot or business opportunities.
- To prevent spam, abuse, duplicate submissions, and misuse of the form.
- To send occasional product updates only if you separately opt in.
Legal basis
We process enquiries based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and developing customer relationships, or where relevant to take steps before entering into a contract. We process anti-abuse data based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. Optional product updates are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate the website and handle enquiries:
- Cloudflare for website hosting, Workers, D1 lead storage, and Turnstile spam protection.
- Resend for email notifications from the contact form.
- Microsoft 365 for receiving and handling email sent to our mailbox.
- Prismic for managing website content. Prismic is not used to store contact form submissions.
These providers process personal data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Finland or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections offered by the provider.
Retention
We retain contact enquiries for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing business relationship, contract discussion, legal obligation, dispute, or security investigation. Marketing consent is retained as long as needed to respect your preferences.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

Required information and automated decisions
Name, email address, and message are needed so we can respond to your enquiry. Organization and product update consent are optional. We do not use contact form data for automated decision-making or profiling.
